Cynthia Morales concentrates her practice in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Intellectual Property.

Experience

She has been part of our firm since 2014, which she considers has been a school for her professional development and growth. She first joined as administrative assistant just before graduating from law school and was later promoted to the legal area, as paralegal and then lawyer. Throughout her career she has gained experience and concentrated her practice in commercial and corporate law, real estate and intellectual property.

Since her beginnings as a practicing lawyer she started gaining experience in management, consulting and annual maintenance of local and international companies, carrying out company incorporations, statutory modifications, including those related to stock capital increase or reduction. Likewise, she has performed requests for trade names and trademarks, management of offshore societies, wealth organization, corporate reorganizing, corporate government, renewal and/or updating of Commercial Registry Certificates and National Taxpayer’s Registry (RNC).

She has also focused her practice in the incorporation and management of not for profit organizations, real estate operations, such as property transfer, legal status certificates, among others, before the National Registry of Titles, obtaining permits and registries, as well as carrying out proceedings and consultations before different government entities. She has worked drafting diverse types of contracts, property sale contracts, assignment of social quotas/ shares, credit assignment, leases, loans, confidentiality agreements, among others.

She has participated in cases on renewable energy projects, with one of them being the largest in the Caribbean, assisting in drafting, preparing and/or revising all corporate and contract documents, requests for provisional and definitive concessions and operations before the Nacional Energy Council (CNE).

In recent years she has had experience in incorporating, mainly real estate trusts and has assisted in other trusts matters. She has also assisted and supported the drafting process of legal and tax opinions and/or consultations for large companies.

Additionally, throughout her career, she has proved to be a professional committed with responsibility, honesty and excellence, working with the best efficiency, dedication and discipline. She stands out for knowing and managing her cases methodically, meticulously, and for being very observant, focused on the objectives and goals she sets. She carries her practice with a high level of concentration and with proactiveness, searching and analyzing adequate solutions favoring client’s interests. She also possesses organizational and time management abilities, and observing that it is necessary and sufficient to manage each case.

Free time

During her free time, Cynthia offers quality moments to her family, keeps her mind active by reading about her interests and researching issues of her concern. She is passionate about listening to music and dancing every time the occasion presents itself. Enjoys watching movies, getting to know a destination surrounded by beaches or landscapes that conveys peace, share and have quality conversations with friends. In addition, she is part of a community of the Catholic Church and through it has served as support in projects of love, solidarity and charity to those most in need.
