Georgina Moya leads the firm’s administrative affairs, ensuring all the general and operational aspects of the office and keeping the day-to-day under control. Georgina oversees and launches our initiatives regarding the development of DR&R, from the implementation of new services, support to our lawyers in the management of clients and the design of strategies to attract new markets. She has participated in logistical support in important projects both for the firm and for the implementation of procedures with our clients. She has extensive knowledge of business processes in general, human resources, social security, labor regulations and market strategies.
With more than twelve years of professional practice and over four years of experience in the legal industry, Georgina Moya has a solid technical track record bringing her capacity and dynamism to the firm.
Georgina is also an Intuit Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor, which has allowed her to assist in various reorganizing processes for management procedures and accounting controls for our partner firms as well as for our clients.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo where she graduated in 2007 with Magna Cum Laude distinction. She also received the certification of Accounting Technician.
She completed a Postgraduate degree in Political Management and Governance, obtaining Summa Cum Laude distinction, and receiving triple degrees from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in collaboration with The George Washington University (GWU) and Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo (UCSD). She also holds a Diploma in International Trade and Foreign Affairs and another one in Political Marketing, with double degrees from UNAM and UCSD.
She participated in the first blended Management Development program of BARNA MANAGEMENT SCHOOL business school.
For more than 10 years Georgina has been working as consular and diplomatic affairs coordinator for the Honorary Consulate of South Africa in combination with Norman G. De Castro.
Georgina is passionate about gastronomy and wine, which allows her to experience combinations and travel the world on tabletop. In her free time she volunteers at the Human Milk Bank of Hospital Universitario Maternidad Nuestra Señora de La Altagracia, helping mothers in the process of donating breast milk as well as incentivizing breastfeeding.
