Experience

Jay Lawrence has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution in administrative, tax, real estate and civil law before various public and private bodies.

In matters of real estate, he has worked with matters of Registered Rights Disputes as well as disputed land surveys and requests of motions before the Courts of Original Jurisdiction and the Superior Land Courts in different demarcations throughout the country.

He also has experience in providing legal services of a tax nature such as the conduct of tax due diligence, tax opinions and drafting reconsideration remedies and contentious remedies before taxing authorities or otherwise competent entities.

Education and publications

Jay Lawrence holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. He has participated in various Diplomas in Tax Law, Labor Law, Civil Procedure, Labor Law and Real Estate Law. His undergraduate’s thesis “The role of the liquidator in his administration” was published in “Las Sociedades”.
