For the last 15 years she has been legal advisor to important personalities, as well as large companies and corporations in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law, Banking Law, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law and Intellectual Property.

Experience

Ms. Rodríguez has extensive and proven experience in corporate and commercial law, incorporating and reorganizing commercial companies under the legislation of the Dominican Republic, as well as in the implementation, review and execution of contracts; she is widely requested for consultations in these areas.

For approximately five years he worked closely with the country’s major commercial banks, particularly in the business area, advising managers and vice-presidents of these financial institutions on the relevant contractual mechanisms in order to safeguard the property and real estate guarantees subject to such operations.

Under real estate registration law, she has presented remarkable results in processes before the Real Estate Jurisdiction at the national level, under her advice large and complex real estate closures have been made, which has allowed our Firm to be constantly required and recognized in this area.

Ms. Rodríguez oversees consulting and management of immigration cases at the Firm, for those foreigners who wish to establish residence in the Dominican Republic, under the different modalities offered by our legislation; she is the advising lawyer for large companies requesting these services for their foreign employees.

Finally, in an era of competitive trade, Intellectual Property is one of the most required areas of practice today. Ms. Rodríguez main experience in this area is the defense of the right of ownership of distinctive signs, through the actions and remedies provided for by Law 20-00 on Industrial Property and its regulations.

Education and publications

She holds a Law Degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), and has constantly participated in several trainings, congresses, seminars, workshops in the legal field, such as Monetary Crimes, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Labor Law, Securities Market, Law against Money Laundering, among others.

Currently her publications for the Firm are highly greeted, as she is constantly presenting Executive Summaries in different areas for our clients.

One of her transcendental Dissertations, still being presented as part of the main library of Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), is focused on Criminal Law: “Application of Forensic Thanatology as Auxiliary Science for the investigation of Homicide in the Dominican Republic”.
